Sunday, February 27, 2011 – SiliconAndhra’s  1st Creek Cleanup

SiliconAndhra joined forces to clean the Lower Penitencia Creek, a.k.a. “SiliconAndhra Creek,” which runs through Milpitas between Montague and Calavaras. SiliconAndhra adopted approximately 10,000′ (nearly 2 miles) of the Lower Penitencia Creek through the heart of Milpitas, to do our part to protect the communities in which we work and live by keeping our waterways clean. Every piece of debris picked up from our adopted creek means one less piece that will end up threatening humans, fish, wildlife and vegetation.
